The move on the espresso cups is the inside/outside split. Lynn glazes the interior in solid ivory muttonfat — a smooth, dense surface that reads the crema clearly when you pull a shot. The exterior is left raw: speckled brown clay, unglazed, slightly textured, warmer to the hand than a glazed wall.
Four cups, 4 ounces each — sized for a double espresso or a ristretto, not a cortado. The handles are pulled small to match the cup; you grip with one finger, the way the form intends. The interior glaze still has the Drift signature: where the ivory meets the rim, it breaks toward the lip and exposes a thin ring of clay underneath.
